Who we share it with
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, when we file your return at your request.

- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website stores your language, theme and cookie choice in your browser so it can remember them. Our client app uses a secure session cookie so you can stay signed in. If we enable analytics cookies (Google Analytics), they will only load after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services and for the periods required by tax law and our professional obligations. After that, we delete it or store it securely until it can be deleted.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to authorized staff, passwords stored in encrypted form and secure session cookies. No system is completely secure; if a security incident affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you notifications, by contacting us. We may need to keep some information when the law requires it. We will answer your request within a reasonable time.
