Acceptance
These terms apply to the website shortaxny.com and to the client app app.shortaxny.com, operated by Shortax LLC (Shortax & Multiservices). By using them you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

The content of this website is general information about our services. It is not tax, legal or financial advice for your particular case, and it does not create a client relationship. Advice is given only after we review your situation and documents.
Our services
Each service is provided under the conditions we agree with you, including its price, before we start. A free estimate does not oblige you to hire the service.
You are responsible for giving us complete, true and accurate information and documents, and for reviewing your return before you sign it. We prepare your return based on the information you provide.
“Fastest & Biggest Refund” describes our commitment: we file electronically, recommend direct deposit and review every credit you may qualify for. The amount of a refund and when it is paid are decided by the IRS and the State of New York; we cannot guarantee a specific amount or date.
Appointments, queue and your account
When you book an appointment or take a turn in our app, we create an account with your contact details. Keep your access private; you are responsible for what is done with it. Arrival times and waiting times shown in the app are estimates.
If you arrive late, your appointment may be attended as a regular turn. Please cancel in the app or contact us if you cannot come. We may cancel or reschedule appointments when necessary and will let you know.
You agree not to misuse the website or the app: for example, sending false information, trying to access other people's information or interfering with how they work.
Messages and third-party services
Some buttons open services that are not ours, such as WhatsApp, your email app or Google Maps. Their use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Intellectual property
The name and logo of Shortax & Multiservices, the texts and the images of this website belong to Shortax LLC or are used with permission. You may not copy them for commercial purposes without our authorization.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep the website and the app available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. We may update them; the new version will be published on this page with its date.
